Fun Stuff I Do

You Tube is my place to go when I’m looking for fun stuff to do. I know that this sounds kind of strange because YouTube is typically known as a place where losers go to hang out with one another. I am not a loser but I really do enjoy interacting with people on the Internet. It is very strange because I do not like interacting with people in actual life. Indeed, I actually hate hanging out with people my own age and talking to them face-to-face. My mom says this is because I spent too much time on the Internet. Whenever she says that I like to point out that the Internet did not create preclusive weirdos. It just gave us a place to go. My mom thinks that I’m very fatalistic and that this is a bad attitude to have. I try to find her that she is silly but she never wants to listen to my opinion.

The Internet Has Made It Easier

I think the internet has made it easier for celebrities to speak their minds, and for the public to get a better feeling for what celebs are really like. But on the same token, the internet has also made it harder for celebs to stay private. Now any Joe on the street can take a photo of a celeb crossing the street and post it on facebook and now everybody knows that William Russ was at Starbucks on June 1st. That sucks for people who are trying to keep a low profile. I have been guilty of that. I saw Keifer Sutherland filming a scene from 24 at my mall, and I couldn’t help it. I had to have Jack Bauer’s image grace my facebook. To be fair, he was already being filmed, so it wasn’t so much an invasion of privacy as maybe unprofessional or shameless of me. But what can I say?
